Clare
trained at the Reigate School of Art and Design with Anthony and Margaret Wood
and graduated with the Diploma in calligraphy, heraldic and manuscript illumination.
She joined the Lyon Court in 1989 and includes raised and flat gilding amongst
her specialities.
As well as her heraldic work, Clare has designed and
sells several ranges of illuminated initials, letters and handmade cards at
craft fairs throughout Scotland.
